How to properly promote biofuels
Biofuels suffer from a badly executed marketing scheme.
Rather than developing a carefully crafted marketing campaign to promote its use, the biofuel industry depended on government mandates and incentives to push the product to the public, which ultimately created a negative image with the customer.
The answer to this was even worse, in arguments that did not tackle his needs and were reused when they failed, which ultimately created a vicious circle which only hindered biofuels growth.
In this opinion paper, Alkol claims a "reset" is needed and suggests a number of techniques and arguments which believes will bring new light to the market and promote the use and likeability of biofuels among the general public.
